WONDERING IF I'M GONNA LAST

I’ve been thinking about overdrafts
what’s going to happen when the due dates pass
will someone come knocking at my door
or will they break through the basement floor
I’m not sure

I’m trying hard not to dwell on it
this sinking feeling that I’ve somehow missed
one of those lines that I should have signed
trying to pay my taxes on time
